What we collect

• Health information you share at consult: history, medications, allergies, conditions
• Treatment records, including notes and any progress photographs you consent to
• Billing information, processed by our payment provider — we never store card numbers
• Basic website analytics such as pages viewed and general location

Why we use it

To assess your suitability for treatment, to deliver and record your rituals safely, to manage your membership and billing, and to contact you about appointments. With your separate consent, we may also send occasional skin journal updates — you can unsubscribe at any time.

Progress photographs

Clinical photographs are taken only with your consent and are stored securely as part of your treatment record. We never publish or share an identifiable image without separate, specific written permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.

Who sees it

Your treating practitioner and our medical oversight team. We share information with third parties only where necessary: our secure booking and payment providers, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Treatment records are retained for the period required by applicable health record regulations. Marketing contact details are removed promptly on request.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep, and withdraw consent for photography or marketing. Email hello@thedottheory.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
