Can I microneedle with active acne? (Read this first)

If you have active, inflamed acne, microneedling usually isn't the move yet. Here's why, and what to do instead.
Rolling over active, inflamed breakouts can spread bacteria and irritate skin further, so it's generally not recommended during a flare.
Acne scarring, once skin has calmed, is one of the things microneedling is genuinely good for.
